The Editor in Chief of Runway Magazine, Miranda Priestly is a woman who knows what she wants, how she wants it, and expects those who work for her to do as she wants. Having grown up in a large, poor Jewish family, Miranda dropped out of high school and went to work in Paris as the assistant of a prominent designer at the age of 17. Miranda then worked her way up until she became the editor or Paris Runway, then finally was promoted to the position of Editor in Chief of Runway Magazine in New York City.
