Medea is the daughter of King Aeetes of Colchis. Her father is the keeper of the Golden Fleece. Medea is studying witchcraft and well-versed in magical spells and potions. Eros shoots an arrow in Medea's heart to make her fall in love with Jason at the prompting of the goddesses, who want Medea to assist Jason with her magic. Although, Medea does fall in love with Jason, she is also torn by the thought of betraying her father. Her inner struggle quickly succumbs to her love for Jason.
