Matthias, also known as Robert Matthews, was a self-appointed prophet. Over time, his power and influence grew, leading him to view himself as God. He took the Bible and rewrote it to fill his own needs. In the end, Matthias believed that he was to take possession of the world, and as he became more and more delusional, he went on to take a life. The Matthias group was disbanded after their leader committed murder.
