M. Heller is Auden's father and only parent; Auden's mother has been dead for years. M. Heller tells Auden to get "it" out of here when he finds Lia at his house, and then forbids her from seeing Auden in the hospital. Although Auden tells Lia that his father hates him, M. Heller spends hours with Auden after the accident and only leaves his side when a nurse insists.
