Lia Kahn is a beautiful and intelligent 17-year-old girl who is horribly injured in a car accident. Her body is almost completely destroyed and to save her life, her brain is downloaded into an artificial body which does not age, never gets sick, and will not die. Prior to the accident Lia was one of the most popular girls in her school. Following weeks of rehab to learn how to control her new body Lia returns to school and finds that everything has changed.
