Lasher is the spirit Suzanne calls out of chaos. He is a storm-maker, and he can bring small objects to the witch who commands him. Lasher promises to do the the witches bidding, if in return, they promise to have a daughter to whom to pass on the powers and the legacy. In the end, we learn that Lasher is the spirit of a long-dead person, who ambitiously seeks a way to be brought back to life.
