Japanese director, Kurosawa, gave priority to one of the two action spaces that are represented by a single sign as synsign of the work and his personal signature. His films used distinct parts of initially long exposition, which were followed by brutal action. in "Heaven and Hell." Kurosawa and Russian writer Dostoevsky are similar in that they ignored the urgency of one event in order to answer a more pressing question. Kurosawa offers a humanist message to a masculine world.
