Kofi Freeman is a senior at Douglass High School in Cincinnati. He is funny, smart and hard-working, and very devoted to his girlfriend, Dana. Some months earlier, Kofi foolishly became involved in an initiation prank for a prestigious campus club, but while his friend Josh was killed, Kofi only suffered a broken arm. However, he is just beginning to admit to himself that he has become addicted to the painkillers he has been taking since the accident.
