Kobayashi Hayata is a swordsman. He challenges Musui, and he is easily defeated. Kobayashi later tries to ambush Musui in anger, but Musui overcomes these attempts as well. After a long period of time, Musui goes on to help Kobayashi become a fencing instructor.
