Who is Kakuya from Assata: An Autobiography and what is their importance?

Kakuya is Assata's daughter. She was born while her mother was in prison. Kayuka suffered greatly from her mother's and had a difficult time dealing with seeing her mother behind bars. When Kakuya turned ten, she was finally able to see her mother as a free woman.
