Julie LoPresti is Lucio and Fran's daughter. She is a rebellious teenager, who sees her parents as oppressive and unfair. Julie loves riding horses, and she spends most of her time riding her gelding. Shortly after Jim Peck moves into his treehouse, Julie happens to ride by and is impressed with both the house and Peck. Julie becomes a frequent visitor at the treehouse, and shortly after the LoPresti's Fourth of July party, Fran calls Joe to blame him because Julie is pregnant. Fran brings the police to Peck's new camp and has him arrested.
