Juan Domingo Peron ( 1895 to 1974) was the 29th and 41st President of Argentina. He was in office from 1946 to 1952, and once again from 1973-1974. Juan also served as the second president of the Eva Peron Foundation. A Former Argentine military general, Juan Peron was elected the President of Argentina in open elections. He was later overthrown by a military coup in 1955. Both Peron and his wife, Evita, were immensely popular during his presidency.
