Johnny Farrell is a CIA operative, artist, and self-proclaimed playboy. Farrel is taken captive by the same organization that took Mrs. Pollifax, in the hopes that he has information about the package she was supposed to have retrieved. After his capture, Farrell tries to take his own life by throwing himself off a cliff..... he is unsuccessful. Because he thinks their chances for survival are slight, he initially tells Mrs. Pollifax that she should attempt to escape on her own. Mrs. Pollifax refuses to leave him behind, so he agrees to go with her. Farrell enjoys the reactions of his cohorts at the CIA when he and Mrs. Pollifax return to the United States.
