Ho-Jon serves as an assistant to the Swampmen. He is described as a young, Christian man, who is kind and intelligent. When he is drafted into the South Korean army, Ho-Jon is wounded and sent back to the 4077th for treatment. Over time, the Swampmen raise enough money to send Ho-Jon to college in the United States.
