The most outgoing of the group, Hanna was once an awkward and mousy child. After Ali's death, she transformed into the pretty and popular member of the "Liars" group, and now hangs out with Ali's former friends, Naomi and Riley. Hanna was once in a coma, and seems to have a near-psychic connection with Ali, who addressed her in the coma and who appears to her in an important dream in the narrative.
