Who is Guilford Dudely from The Children of Henry VIII and what is their importance?

Guilford Dudely was the Duke of Northumberland's youngest son. He later married Lady Jane Grey and was named her consort. After her arrest, Guilford was also imprisoned in the Tower. They were tried for treason and executed.
