Gordy Brogan is a deputy for Bryce Hammond. He is the youngest member Snowfield's law enforcement officers, and as things get worse, he starts to question his choices in life. After reflecting on his options, Gordy decides that he will leave the department and pursue a career with animals should he survive. He is also is thrilled when the opportunity to change his life presents itself in the form of an injured dog. Refusing to listen to warnings, Gordy approaches the dog with the intent of helping it...… the dog, however, quickly changes and absorbs Gordy, devouring him as it dissolves his flesh and bones.
