A deputy for Bryce Hammond, Gordy is the youngest of the law enforcement officers in Snowfield. As the time in the town grows more horrific, Gordy begins to question his choices in life, wondering if he is being punished for his decision to be a police officer instead of the vet his parents had encouraged him to be. Gordy decides to leave the department and pursue a career with animals should he survive. Gordy, fearful and distraught , is thrilled when the opportunity to change his life presents itself in the form of an injured dog. Despite the warnings of the others, Gordy approaches the dog with the intent of helping it. The dog changes, absorbing Gordy as it changes into a blob like creature, devouring Gordy as it dissolves his flesh and bones.
