Gimple is a character in Gimple the Fool. He is described as a simple and gullible baker, who is known as a fool in the village of Frampol. Gimple is married to Elka, who regularly cheats on her husband with a variety of men. Over the course of the story, Elka bears six children. Before her death, she confesses that none of the children are her husband's.
