Who is Gerald Skibbow from The Neutronium Alchemist Consolidation and what is their importance?

Gerald Skibbow uproots his family to start over on the newly settled planet of Lalonde. During the outbreak of the possessed virus, Gerald's wife and two daughters are killed and he is possessed. Gerald is later captured by Ralph Hiltch's commando unit and placed in zero-tau for the journey to Ombrey.
