Who is Friedrich Nietzsche from Shakespeare: The Invention of the Human and what is their importance?

Bloom, the author of this novel, was also a student of Friedrich Nietzsche's critical writings on Shakespeare. The author's citations of Nietzsche are admittedly distracting, as they do contradict the author's main idea of Shakespeare the development of the human personality.
