Francis Weed is a married man, who almost loses his wife over his obsession with the babysitter. It is important to note that the babysitter kissed him (not the other way around), and that Francis did not have an affair with the girl. Unfortunately, the incident leaves him so distracted that his wife almost leaves him. Francis ultimately sees a psychiatrist, after which, he is seemingly able to return to his life minus his obsession with the girl.
