Evan's real name is Edric (The Faerie Path) and serves Lord Gabriel Drake. However, he falls in love with Anita/Tania and can't deliver her as Gabriel wants. For her birthday he rents a powerboat and treats her to a ride. It ends badly when it crashes into a bridge column.
