Emina and Samra are the two young women who move into the apartment next to the Zlatas. They are there to take care of a small child by the name of Nejra. The young women become close friends with Zlata's family, and Zlata adores Nejra. Over the course of the story, their apartment is bombed and largely destroyed. Thankfully, no one is hurt.
