Dr. Ian Cuthbert is a curator at the Museum of Natural History. He and Frock are colleagues, but when it comes time to choose between two new exhibitions, Cuthbert's choice of the Superstition Exhibit is based upon the fact it will draw the largest crowds. The Superstition Exhibit, based on the religious and spiritual rituals of ancient peoples, is set to open the same week a creature begins killing people within the museum. Cuthbert, however, insists the exhibition go on as schedule and uses his friendship with the director to ensure it does.
