Dorothy "Dot" Fetters is Albertine, Kitty and Guy's (Parsifal's) mother. She is described as a strong willed woman who raises her three children in Alliance Nebraska. Her husband, Albert, is killed by Guy when he jumps into the middle of a fight between his mother and father. His mother was pregnant at the time. Dot goes to visit her son once during his time at the Nebraska Boys reformatory, and he asks her not to come again. When Sabine arrives, Dot does her best to keep her close, as she is a link to the son she lost.
