A member of Carpathia's inner circle, he is a Christian and uses his position to feed information to other members of the Tribulation Force. David is in charge of purchasing and other logistical matters. When charged with tracking down the location of the safe house being used by Buck Williams and Tsion Ben-Judah, David first delays the arrival of computers and then puts a bug into the tracking system so that it's impossible for the workers to complete their task.
