Who is Craig Hwong from My Most Excellent Year: A Novel of Love, Mary Poppins, and Fenway Park and what is their importance?

Craig Hwong is the father of Augie Hwong, and husband to Lisa Wei Hwong. He is kind and patient, and very accepting of his son. He is often unsure how to handle certain situations, and so seeks advice from T.C.'s father, Ted. Ted, in turn, seeks advice from Craig.
