Friedman notes that while many people associate capitalism with corporatism, he, himself, is at pains to distinguish the two. Friedman argues that corporations often seek special privileges for themselves from the government.... and that these priviledges come at the expense of the people. In Friedman's opinion, government should not grant these privileges.
