Colin Noble is second in command to Peter Stride at Thor Command. He is a Colonel in the US Marine Corp, and in their six weeks of training together, he quickly earns the respect of Peter.

Though he resembles a used car salesman in appearance, he is anything but. He is of medium height, but is a big man despite that. He has the body shape of a toad, but it is comprised entirely of bone and muscle, without fat of any kind. He has eyes that are bright and intelligent, and a nose that just below the bridge was broken, making it twist slightly with a lump. His mouth is wide and laughing, and he is intelligent, with a midwestern American drawl to his voice.
