The Chemehuevas were a part of the Shoshonian Indian Nation and lived to the north of the Mojave and Yuma tribes in the mountains of the Rio Virgen. They built homes of bough for winter use and spent their summers in big booth like structures of willows and poles. They were one of the most advanced Indian tribes.
