Cassio, Othello's choice for the position of lieutenant, is questioned because he has little field experience. He is described as smooth-talking and courteous.... very unlike Othello, who is deceived into suspecting Cassio of having an affair with his wife because of these same traits. Unfortunately, for all involved...... Othello is wrong.
