A journalist prior to the Rapture, Buck becomes a Christian and is the writer of an cyber magazine known as "The Truth." Buck is married to Chloe, making him Rayford's son-in-law. He has a son, an infant named Kenny. Buck is a strong Christian ,though he admits to battling between what he knows is right as a Christian and his desires as a reporter when he is invited to be present at the ceremony prophesied as Carpathia's assassination. Buck desires to lead a man named Chaim Rosenzweig to Christ and travels a great distance in order to personally witness to the man though it leads to nothing.
