Buford "Buck" Sheehan is a member of the second family that lives in the haunted house. Buck and his wife, Anita, buy the house in an attempt to get their lives back on track. They have suffered the loss of a son, in addition to Buck's subsequent affair with one of his coworkers. Buck's affair is responsible for the loss of his job, as well as his wife's illness.
