Who is Buford "Buck" Sheehan from The House Next Door and what is their importance?

Buck Sheehan is Anita's unfaithful husband. He buys the house after having an affair with the intent of starting over. Unfortunately, his wandering doesn't end, and the house is blamed for his next affair with Virginia. Anita witnesses her husband with another woman and returns to her catatonic state.
