A itinerant monk, Brother Francisco is a religious fanatic and founder of the rogue sect The Brothers of the Ark. Brother Francisco travels the Amazon region, sometimes dragging a large cross, preaching a message of apocalypse and sacrifice. Those who attend Brother Francisco's sermons often become hypnotized by his charisma and become followers. Those who espouse Brother Francisco's doctrine of sacrifice are known to sacrifice living beings of all sorts: insects, small wild animals, and eventually human beings. After successfully eluding capture, Brother Francisco is finally taken prisoner by the Peruvian Army only to be rescued by a small group of his most staunch converts, taken into the jungle and crucified at his request.
