Balthazar Getty is one of the stars of the David Lynch film "Lost Highway." In the film, Bill Pullman's character transforms into Getty while sitting on death row, but Getty's character is a separate person from Pullman who works as an auto-mechanic. In Wallace's interactions with Getty, he finds that Getty is very friendly to Lynch when Lynch is around, but Getty makes fun of Lynch whenever Lynch is gone.
