Audrey is a mining engineer who joins the group when they are entering the movie theater. They do not realize it, but Tak is using her to hurt them. Audrey is a young and attractive female who has witnessed Collie killing and maiming many people. Still, she maintains that he is just a mass murderer, not an evil spirit. Her role in the novel is to cause disbelief, offer alternative answers, and delay the group from taking action. She is killed by the group when they discover what she really is.
