Alexander McGillivray was half-Scot and half-Indian. He was so like Joseph Brant, that he became an intermediary between white and Indian cultures. Alex assisted the Creek Indians in their negotiations with Spain and later with America. Unfortunately, he died at a young age, leaving the Creek Indians without a leader.
