Who is Albert from Bounce and what is their importance?

Albert from Bounce, is Ev's father. He is a hippy type and is a carpenter by trade. His nickname is Birdy. He has a goatee which he shaves off when he meets Eleni and this makes Ev upset. Birdy is obsessed with his teeth (mostly because both his parents were dentists).
