Albert "Birdie" Linney from Bounce is Ev's father. He is a hippie type who is a carpenter by occupation. He insists that his children call him 'Birdie' and not dad. He has a goatee that seems to always have food in it and seems to be in his own happy world most of the time. When he meets Eleni and they decide to get married, he makes accomodations (like shaving his goatee off) that unnerve his children.
