Who is A from Sarah Kane: Complete Plays and what is their importance?

A is a character in the play, Crave. A is C's suitor, and over the course of the play, he must convince her that he is not a rapist or a pedophile. When he finally succeeds, they presumably begin to sleep together. When C rejects him, A becomes bitter, and when she returns to him...... he no longer wants her, citing that his unconditional love fer her is gone.
