What is the most important places in the story of Rabbit Proof Fence and what are the incidents that happened with the characters in those places ?

I can't go through all the places you need. I can give you one though. I recall mid-way through the movie version when the tracker knew exactly where the girls were. He does not give them up even though his daughter is at that dreaded school. Although the tracker says little through the whole movie, his painful dilemma is almost tangible: he hates his job but must do it for the sake of his daughter.
