The Friendship Matchmaker features protagonist Lara Zany. Lara is a self styled matchmaker; helping kids at the school connect and find friends. She is so successful at it that she decides to write a manual to hand out. When the new girl comes to the school, though, Lara finds out that friendship and matchmaking can't be reduced down to a checklist of do's and don'ts.
