WHAT DID THE PEOPLE THINK OF THE HOUSE IN THE NOVEL FRANGIPANI HOUSE

For the most part, people had positive views about Frangipani House, which is a care home for the elderly. Over the course of the novel, however, we come to see the way in which the residents don't always share that positive view. This is especially evident in Mama King's feels of entrapment and isolation, the feeling that she has lost her freedom and identity.
