In the novel, The Prophet of Gibran by Khalil Gibran, the ethical principles are usually to be found in several categories. There are his thoughts on living in the city versus living in the rural areas. society and law and how they often are in direct opposition to nature and love, and lastly, his notions on spirituality and gods. Most of his writings challenge the reader directly because he does not tell the reader what he or she should do, but rather questions the perspecive that you currently hold.
