Terror is stronger than hunger, Elie Wiesel writes on page 56. Would you have tried to take the soup at the risk of death? Why or why not?

This question calls for your opinion. There is no right or wrong answer. The terror inflicted by the Nazis upon the Jews could easily have caused someone to refuse food in fear of death. I would likely have passed on the soup and gone hungry, simply happy to live another day.
