I would hope that Miss Narwin wouldn't want her job back..... that she would move onto another school, a school more accepting of traditional teaching methods.

In my opinion, there was no reason for Narwin to leave her job in the first place. Teachers get used to students being angry with them, and it is often necessary to build a tough, outer shell. Phil is the type of student who creates that exterior, but it is, none-the-less, the teacher's job to create the curriculum based upon standards set by the state. Students often get to choose their classes..... but they don't get to write the lesson plans. Certain students have legitimate reasons for not wanting to read a specific novel, but Phil didn't have a legitimate reason.... I don't want to just doesn't cut it.

All things considered, Narwin should be offered her job if she still wants it. Why she would want to return to a system in which she received no respect or support is beyond me, but the media is a powerful thing..... we see that each and everyday.
