At the beginning of Chapter Nineteen, Thora Grey comes back after the meeting to tell Poirot and Hastings something that she wanted to clarify. Franklin had said that Thora Grey decided to pursue other employment. Thora comes back to say that it was actually Lady Clarke who did not want her there anymore.
