how does Waldman's use of language enhance the emotional pwer of the book "the submission"?

this is on the book "The Submission" by Amy Waldman. What are the parallels or differences between submission to one's values and faith, and submitting to what is expected?

Waldman uses her words and style to suck the reader into the world that she has created The Submission. By getting the reader to understand things on a much more emotional level she is able to produce a response to the story the connects to more than just a story.
